LAWRENCE, Ind. -- A 16-year-old boy was rushed to the hospital after being injured in a shooting in Lawrence Monday evening.
Lawrence Police Department Assistant Chief Gary Woodruff says police responded to the scene in the 4800 block of Leona Drive around 7 p.m.

The teen was shot in the arm and was taken to the hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting have not been released. Police are unsure at this time if any charges will be filed.
