19-year-old found shot to death in car on Indianapolis' north side

INDIANAPOLIS -- A 19-year-old man was found shot to death inside a vehicle on Indianapolis' north side Thursday evening. 

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers were called to the 3300 block of College Avenue just before 8 p.m. 

Responding officers found a 19-year-old man inside a vehicle suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. he was taken to the hospital where he later died. The Marion County Coroner has identified the man as Antonio Torres-Spears. 

Police on the scene say they believe the victim has shot a few blocks away from where his vehicle was located. No arrests have been made at this time but police are looking into possible suspects.
