INDIANAPOLIS — Tickets to the Indianapolis Zoo's annual fundraiser event, Zoobilation, will go on sale Friday, February 1.
Tickets will go on sale exclusively on the zoo's website at 9 a.m. Feb. 1.
The black-tie affair is set to take place at the Indianapolis Zoo at 7 p.m. June 14.
The 2019 Zoobilation, presented by Indianapolis Power & Light Company, theme is "Night in the Jungle." This year's theme celebrates the arrival of the zoo's newest species — snakes and sloths.
According to the zoo's Public Relations Specialist, Carla Knapp, they look forward to a good amount of wild formal wear, inspired by the colors and animals of the jungle.
Attire for the much anticipated event is black-tie and guests must be 21-years-old or older.
General admission tickets are $275 for Zoo members (limit four) and $300 for non-members. Premium Experience tickets are an additional $200.
The event raised a record $2.5 million in 2018 to help fund the care of the Zoo’s 1,200 animals and 47,000 plants as well as its global conservation initiatives.
