INDIANAPOLIS -- A Ben Davis High School student was arrested Wednesday for making a threat against the school on social media.
Superintendent of Wayne Township schools, Dr. Jeff Butts, said on Twitter that school administrators received information late Wednesday morning about a threat made by a student on Instagram about bringing a gun to school
The student wasn't at school when the threat was made, so Wayne Township School Police went to his house to detain him.
Elijah Eytcheson, 18, was arrested on a preliminary charge of felony intimidation

More than 20 arrests have been made in connection with threats at Indiana high schools since the Feb. 14 deadly shooting at a school in Parkland, Florida.
Most recently, on Tuesday, three students were arrested for making social media threats against Southport High School.
