INDIANAPOLIS — One person was shot and killed in downtown Indianapolis on Tuesday evening.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officials confirmed a fatal shooting that happened around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Police have made it clear that there is no public danger to anyone downtown.
Officers were called to the area of East Michigan and North Pennsylvania streets, near the Indiana world War Memorial and near Old National Centre.
Officials have confirmed that the shooting involved two people; a male and a female.
It has been reported that the two did have relations, they are not sure of what degree. The female is in custody for questioning. The male is deceased.
