CUMBERLAND, Ind. – When they say someone who’s a class act is a “boy scout,” it’s for good reason.
Police in Warren Township found that out firsthand recently, and in a very sweet way.
The Cumberland Police Department says this week, Cub Scout Brayden Flagg and Boy Scout Tryston Flagg (from Pack 121 and Troop 161, respectively), brought in a shipment of Boy Scout goodies for the entire department.
They donated packages of popcorn and chocolate-covered treats for the officers to say thank you for their service.
A deputy from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office was also at the department at the time and helped thank the kids for their gifts.
The brothers’ father is a serving member of the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, so they know firsthand the tough things officers go through every day.
