INDIANAPOLIS -- The busiest day for holiday travel at the Indianapolis International Airport is actually the Friday before Thanksgiving Day.
More than 17,000 people were expected to fly out of the Indianapolis airport on Friday.
If you are flying out in the days to come, there is one big change you need to know before you reach security.
Anything larger than a cell phone, like a Kindle or an iPad mini, will have to be taken out of your bag and run through screening separately.
If you do happen to bring something with you that you can't bring through security, they can help you make arrangements to mail it back home.
