INDIANAPOLIS -- Four teenagers were arrested after shots were fired near the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department North District Wednesday night.
The shooting happened just after 11 p.m., when officers were in the parking lot when they heard gunshots close by.
No officers were hurt. Police did find a gun that has been reported stolen.
When the gunfire stopped, they immediately searched for the shooters and apprehended four 17-year-olds. Police do not believe they were shooting at officers.
They were preliminarily charged with resisting law enforcement.
In December 2016, Damoine Wilcoxson was charged with criminal recklessness for the shooting at IMPD's Northwest District on Oct. 4, 2016, one year ago to the day to the most recent shooting.
