INDIANAPOLIS -- Police are trying to determine whether a woman who fell from a third story apartment in downtown Indianapolis jumped, fell or was thrown.

Police were called to the scene in the 900 block of Fort Wayne Avenue just before 3 p.m. Tuesday.

Call 6 sources say they have surveillance video of the woman falling from her apartment, but they are still trying to determine what caused her to fall. Those sources say they found the woman's apartment "trashed" and "bloody" but they have not yet determined whether anything criminal has taken place.

The incident has been turned over to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department and remains under investigation.
