Child critically injured in two-vehicle crash on Indy's north side

INDIANAPOLIS -- A 5-year-old child was critically injured in a two-vehicle crash on Indianapolis' north side Monday night. 

According to Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officials, the child was injured in an accident on 21st Street near the I-65 entrance ramp around 7:30 p.m. 

It is unclear if anyone else was injured at this time. 

The accident remains under investigation.
