City wants your input on development near airport

INDIANAPOLIS -- City leaders want your input about how to revitalize Indy’s west side, near the Indianapolis Airport.

Economic development officials are gathering input from neighbors, businesses, and other stakeholders on their thoughts for the Airport Economic Development  Area Tax-Increment Financing District (Airport TIF).

The Airport TIF is bordered by Washington Street to the north, Kentucky Road to the south, and Raceway Road on the west and Lynhurst to the east.

City leaders are looking for redevelopment opportunities near the planned Blue Line Bus Rapid Transit stops on Washington Street, such as new businesses, sidewalks, parks, sidewalks, trails and bike lanes.

Public Workshop 1 – Thursday, November 16th

  • M.S.D. of Wayne Township Education Center
  • 1220 S. High School Road, Indianapolis
