INDIANAPOLIS -- After nearly 20 years in business, Crackers Comedy Club in Broad Ripple closed its doors for good on Tuesday.
Owner Ruth Anne Herber Bunting says she the club in the 6200 block of N. College Ave. needed a lot of repairs that would cost a lot of money.
Herber Bunting said said even more importantly, she wants to spend more time with her family.
The Broad Ripple location has merged with the newer downtown Crackers located at 207 N. Delaware.
Heber Bunting said this way she could guarantee all 15 employees at the Broad Ripple location a job.
She says closing was heartbreaking but the right decision.
