BEECH GROVE, Ind. -- A stolen car crashed into multiple homes before bursting into flames following a pursuit in Beech Grove early Sunday morning.
Police say the chase started around 2:30 a.m. when they noticed two stolen cars in Beech Grove.
When officers approached the cars, the drivers took off in separate directions
Police say the pursuit lasted about five minutes and ended in the 200 block of South Emerson Avenue when one of the stolen cars crashed into a home and burst into flames.
"I came outside and there were cops, sirens and cars on fire," said Kevin Thompson who lives nearby.
Police say no one was seriously injured in the crash but three homes on the street were damaged.
The second stolen car was also found nearby.
All of the suspects involved are now in police custody including some juveniles.
