INDIANAPOLIS -- Three veterans become homeless in Indianapolis every day and finding them a place to stay has become more difficult with decreased federal funding.
"When you join the military, you wrote a check to the U.S. government to and including your life if need be. I'm not saying all the decisions and actions we took afterward were accurate or right, but we owe it to veterans to regain stability in their life if they lost their way," said James Miller, formerly homeless Air Force veteran.
Miller and a formerly homeless Army veteran spoke with RTV6's Derrik Thomas about the very real struggle many vets face to find shelter:
