INDIANAPOLIS, Ind -- History buffs, architecture nerds and design lovers can revel in the diversity and character of Broad Ripple Village September 22-24 on the thirteenth annual Broad Ripple Historic Home Tour.

According to members of the Broad Ripple Village Association, since the tour’s inception in 2005, the event has showcased more than 100 historically and architecturally significant Broad Ripple homes.

Tour homes are located throughout the Village, giving visitors the opportunity to see what makes the neighborhood so unique. Organizers said that as visitors tour the homes, they will learn facts about each home and those who have lived in it over the years. They will also meet the owners and take away decorating and renovation ideas.

The Broad Ripple Historic Home Tour is organized by the Broad Ripple Village Association (BRVA) and a committee of volunteers led by the committee chair, Chad Thompson.

On the night before the tour, Friday, September 22, from 6:30-9:30 pm, the home tour committee will host a kickoff party on Broad Ripple Avenue featuring complimentary food from area restaurants, local beer and wine, along with live entertainment. The Kickoff Party is free to attend with the purchase of a home tour ticket.
