INDIANAPOLIS -- Police are trying to find two men they believe were involved in a brazen afternoon home invasion on Indianapolis' south side Tuesday.

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers were called to a home in the 1100 block of Nanwich Court around 12:30 p.m.

One of the victims told police that two men knocked on the door of the home and when one of the homeowners answered it they forced their way inside and tied up the man and woman who lived there.

Police say the woman was struck in the head and the suspects stole her bank card and several other items inside the home before taking off with her car.

The woman was taken to the hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Police have no suspects at this time, but they are actively searching for the victim's 2002 silver Jeep Grand Cherokee.

If you have any information about this crime or any other contact IMPD or Crime Stoppers of Central Indiana at 317-262-8477.
