INDIANAPOLIS -- Can't wait for IKEA to open until October? Now you can get sneak peek - and you won't have to go to Fishers to do it.
IKEA will open a pop-up 'experiential event' on Monument Circle in downtown Indy on September 29 at 10 a.m.
You'll be able to see IKEA products on display in a pop-up showroom and be able to ask questions of IKEA brand ambassadors.
It doesn't appear any of the display items will be for sale; you'll just have to wait until October 11 when the store opens for real in Fishers.
But there will be a pop-up candy shop where you can fill a bag with Swedish candy for free on Monument Circle.
