INDIANAPOLIS — In one morning, more than ten vehicles were stolen in the city's southwest side.
Due to the rise in numbers of vehicle thefts, the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department released a video to to raise awareness of the risks people take when they leave their keys in their car while it's running.
What’s more uncomfortable than a cold car? No car...every time you leave your car running to warm up in the driveway or keep it warm while you run inside somewhere “real quick,” you leave your vehicle vulnerable to theft. Don’t do it. #TurnItOff #LockIt #PSA #IMPDcares pic.twitter.com/U9e9gJov8M
