INDIANAPOLIS — A man and woman were killed Friday night when their motorcycle crashed on South Madison Avenue near Southport Road.
A public information officer for the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said the crash involved the motorcycle, going southbond, and a northbound SUV.
Both victims were rushed to downtown hospitals, but neither survived.
Police are still investigating why the two vehicles came in contact with each other on the busy road.
