INDIANAPOLIS -- Two Indianapolis police officers used their experience beyond the badge to help get a resident get out of a sticky situation on Tuesday.
A terrified homeowner called police after hundreds of bees swarmed their birdbath.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department East District officers Brian Mack and Scotty Emminger - who are also beekeepers - went above and beyond the call of duty to help wrangle and safely remove the bees from the homeowner's yard.
"So... if you ever have a bee swarm issue request Officer Mack," IMPD's East District joked on Facebook. "Or you could also contact the Central Indiana Beekeepers Association."
