INDIANAPOLIS — A third scooter company has joined the ranks of Lime and Bird around the Circle City.

The Department of Business and Neighborhood Services (BNS) gave the final approval for the scooter company, Spin, to start operating across Indianapolis on Wednesday.

The black and orange scooters have been seen around cities like Austin, Texas; Nashville, Tennessee; Venice, California and more.

The City of Indianapolis would like to remind riders that scooters are not to be ridden on sidewalks, trails (including the Cultural and Monon), White River State Park, or the Canal Walkway. When parking scooters, they must be upright, and four feet of space must be given for an unobstructed passageway.
