INDIANAPOLIS -- As of today, Indianapolis Verizon customers can begin signing up for its impending rollout of 5G Ultra Wideband service.

Indianapolis is one of only four cities (the others are Houston, Los Angeles and Sacramento) getting first dibs on the 5G service, which Verizon says is 100-times faster than the 4G speeds customers are used to.

The service will run $50 a month for current Verizon customers and $70 a month for non-customers.

There’s one catch though: Not everyone in Indianapolis will be eligible when the service first rolls out on Oct. 1.

To find out if you’re eligible, visit Verizon’s website here.
