INDIANAPOLIS -- Firefighters have a tough enough job to do, but when someone drives over one of their hoses at a fire scene? There are no words:
Video below occurred during fire yesterday at 3289 W 42nd. FF's stopped car & called for @IMPDnews & 40-ish y/o W/F sped off #TIPS anyone? pic.twitter.com/mbfjIa3KaO

A bystander turned the video of what happened over to the fire department.
An earlier tweet expressed just how IFD feels about the person who ran over their hose:
Because where ur headed is a lot more important than the firefighters inside a burning structure & their life saving water supply #NotCool pic.twitter.com/OytwoQfeUl

A fire department spokesperson says a 100-foot section of a 5-inch hose was damaged when the driver ran over it. The replacement cost is about $500.
Police can issue the driver a traffic ticket or elevate it to interfering with the duties of a firefighter, which is a misdemeanor.
Do you know who the driver was? Do IFD a favor and give Crime Stoppers a call at 317-262-TIPS.
Firefighters were battling a house fire on Indy's northwest side when their hose burst.
Two supply lines are always in place in case of a working fire, according to IFD Standard Operating Procedure. They are hooked to different hydrants in case one of them malfunctions.
Fire investigators estimate damage to the house at $75,000.
