INDIANAPOLIS -- Hundreds of dogs, puppies, cats, and kittens are snuggling up their new beds thanks to the Indy Mega Adoption Event.
More than 1,000 animals from dozens of shelters across central Indiana were up for adoption during the two-day event at the Indiana State Fairgrounds.

Of those pets, more than 600 were able to find someone to love them.
For just $30, adopters were able to take home their new family members fully fixed and microchipped.
If you weren't able to make it to the event, you can still visit any of the dozens of shelters and rescues that were at Indy Mega this weekend to see what pets still need a loving home.
Since 2014, more than 7,000 dogs and cats have found their furever homes because of the Indy Mega-Adoption Event.
