INDIANAPOLIS -- An Indianapolis restaurant had to close Sunday after police say a 90-year-old woman mistakenly hit the gas pedal and ran into the building.

Officers were called to Sahm's Place on E. 65th Street just before noon.

The Indianapolis Fire Department says a 90-year-old woman was pulling into a parking spot and hit the gas pedal instead of the break, crashing her silver Honda into the side door of the building.

No one was injured and the woman was able to climb out of her vehicle on her own.

The business had to close briefly for repairs but was approved by the Board of Health to reopen Sunday afternoon.
