LEBANON, Ind. -- Police are investigating after a person claims they were shot while driving along I-65 near Lebanon Monday evening.
Indiana State Police were called to the hospital around 7:30 p.m. for a person who had been shot.
The victim told police they were a passenger in the vehicle and the driver took them immediately to the hospital. The victim is believed to have non-life-threatening injuries.

Police are unsure if this was a targeted shooting at this time. No suspect information has been released.
The shooting remains under investigation by Indiana State Police.
