INDIANAPOLIS -- Kids visiting The Children's Museum of Indianapolis got the chance to learn some important safety skills during National Fire Prevention Week.
One of the challenges was to learn how to use a fire extinguisher.
Kasey the dog was also on hand to help kids learn how to stop, drop and roll.
Firefighters say now is an important time for you to talk to your children about fire safety especially with winter coming and the use of space heaters increasing.
Make sure they know how to get out your home safely and what to do in case of a fire.
