INDIANAPOLIS -- Now is the time to sign up for a popular autumn event at Krannert Park on the Indy's West Side.
It’s the Krannert Park Pumpkin Plunge on Saturday, October 21 from 1 to 4 p.m.
The Krannert pool becomes a floating pumpkin patch, with kids jumping into the water and retrieving their pumpkins.
Once out of the pool, children can decorate their pumpkins, complete crafts, play games, eat snacks and watch scary movies.
There are three different times to sign up for entrance to the pool: 1pm, 1:30 p.m. and 2 p.m.
Children 6 to 12 can take part and the cost is $8 for the first child and $6 for each additional child.
