INDIANAPOLIS -- A man is in critical condition after being shot during an argument in the drive-thru of a restaurant on Indianapolis' north side Monday evening.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers were called to the Rally's near the intersection of 38th Street and College Avenue just before 9 p.m.
Police say people in two different cars vehicles were arguing in the drive-thru line when one of them got out and shot the other. The man who was shot was taken to Eskenazi Hospital in critical condition.
The shooter told police that he fired in self-defense. So far no arrests have been made.
The shooting remains under investigation by the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
