INDIANAPOLIS – Indianapolis police detectives started a death investigation Monday night on the city’s northeast side.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police said a 28-year-old man was found in a vehicle with a gunshot wound in the 3500 block of Star Magnolia Place around 5:50 p.m. Medical personnel pronounced him dead at the scene.
Detectives are treating the incident as a homicide, according to IMPD.
The name of the shooting victim was not released.
