INDIANAPOLIS – A man in a motorized chair was killed after he was hit by a vehicle on Indy’s west side Wednesday night.
The 72-year-old man in a motorized chair was struck in the 2500 block of West Morris Street around 7:30 p.m. Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers were alerted after a group of people found the man face down in a pool of water along the side of the road.

"We're treating this as a felony criminal hit and run and looking for any information that anyone may have," said IMPD Capt. Harold Turner.
