INDIANAPOLIS -- A man was shot and killed while intervening in an argument on Indianapolis' west side early Tuesday morning.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers were called to the scene on Normandy Drive around 11:30 p.m.
Witnesses told police that a group of people were arguing in the front yard of a home when a man tried to intervene in that argument and was shot. Police say two people got into a vehicle and fled the scene.
The man was taken to the hospital in critical condition where he later died. He has been identified as Michael Moore, 28.
Police have not said what vehicle they are looking for at this time and no arrests have been made.
