INDIANAPOLIS – A man was shot and killed on the city’s northeast side Tuesday evening.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police said the shooting happened in a parking lot near 34th Street and Forest Manor Avenue shortly before 6:30 p.m.
Detectives said they found several shell casings and have started looking for witnesses.
The 25-year-old man was rushed to the hospital but died from his injuries, police said.
He's been identified as 25-year-old Donald Patterson, Jr.
Police said this is the eighth homicide in the past six days.
