INDIANAPOLIS -- A man is in critical condition after police say he was shot multiple times on Indianapolis' west side Sunday afternoon.
Officers were called to 32nd Street near Elmira Street just before 1 p.m. for a person shot.
When they arrived they found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the abdomen. That man was taken to Eskenazi Hospital in critical condition, according to police. The victim's identity has not been released.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers on the scene say they currently have no witnesses to the shooting but they are canvassing the area looking for anyone who may have seen or heard anything.
