INDIANAPOLIS -- A McDonald's on Indianapolis' northeast side is popular with nearby families but there's been concern lately about the closure of the business' PlayPlace.

There's been a lot of speculation online about what caused the restaurant to close their child's play area but store manager Tiffany Jones said it's nothing serious.

Jones said they had to temporarily close the PlayPlace while the store was being remodeled, and she wants to reassure customers that it will be back.

Jones said the PlayPlace should reopen to the public in the next couple of weeks.

"We have lost a lot of business since we shut down the PlayPlace," said Jones. "We hope those families who love using that space will come back and enjoy it."
