INDIANAPOLIS – A new Boys & Girls Club opened in Warren Township Wednesday, offering a place for children to go after school.
For $15 a year, students can join the Boys and Girls Club inside Pleasant Run Elementary.
"They get a snack, we started with homework help, tutoring. They can work on computers, artwork gym activities,” said Executive Director Rick Whitten. “Other programs that help them deal with life help them to become responsible citizens and deal with the stresses of a child living in a dangerous neighborhood."
