INDIANPOLIS — A vending machine so big that it spits out cars officially opened on Thursday in Indianapolis.

Carvana allows you to research, finance, trade-in and buy cars online or through your mobile phone.

After you make your purchase online, you can come to the tower off I-69 near 82nd Street. All you do is pop in your oversized token and your car is dispensed.

“It’s the future,” Amy O’Hara with Carvana said. “It’s the now. It’s the ability to buy a car entirely online and then have it in your hands as soon as the next day.”

You get a 7-day test-own period with any car you purchase. You can also choose to have the car delivered to your home, instead of dispensed at the “vending machine.”

Thursday’s grand opening was the first Carvana vending machine to open in Indiana and the 15th one to open nationwide.
