TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. -- The National Weather Service says a EF-0 tornado briefly touched down in Tippecanoe County Saturday morning.
The touchdown was reported around 11:15 a.m. near Dayton. The tornado had winds up to 75 mph and was 110 yards wide.

According to the National Weather Service the brief touchdown ripped siding off the corner of a home and threw unknown debris across a field as the tornado moved northeast across Tippecanoe County. The tornado also tore several tree tops down, including half of an evergreen tree. Debris was also found across the street from a home on the corner of 200S and 900E.
