INDIANAPOLIS -- More than 1,000 dogs and cats from shelters and rescues across central Indiana will be available for adoption for just $30 each during the fifth annual Indy Mega-Adoption Event this weekend.
Adoptable pets come in all shapes and sizes and the reduced fee includes spay/neuter, vaccination and micro-chip.

At least 29 different shelters will have animals available for adoption and ready to go home with you on the day of the event.
The Indy Mega-Adoption Event runs from October 13-14 from noon to 6 p.m. at the Indiana State Fairgrounds South Pavilion at 1202 E. 38th St.
The fairgrounds will have free admission and $5 parking the day of the event.
More than 600 dogs and cats found their fur-ever homes during June’s Mega-Adoption Event.
