INDIANAPOLIS -- One person is dead after being struck by a vehicle on Indianapolis' south side Saturday evening.
Officers were called to the intersection of Gilbert Avenue and East Street for a report of a person hit.
That person was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other details have been released at this time.
The accident remains under investigation by the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
