INDIANAPOLIS -- Police say they found a person dead at an apartment complex on Indianapolis' northwest side Sunday morning.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers received a call just before 7 a.m. for shots fired near the 3000 block of Breakwater Drive. When officers arrived, they found one person unresponsive at the scene. That person was pronounced dead.

Detectives questioned a second person at the scene. It is unclear if that person was a witness or possible suspect. Police have not said if any charges have been filed at this time.
