INDIANAPOLIS -- One person was killed early Monday morning in a crash on Indianapolis' south side.
The crash happened shortly after midnight on Sherman Drive, just south of Southport Road.
Police say a driver in a Chevy sedan was going too fast in the northbound lanes and lost control.
The driver crossed over the line and crashed head-on into a pickup truck.
The driver of the sedan died at the scene, and two people inside the truck were treated for their injuries.
Police believe alcohol may have been a factor in the crash.
