INDIANAPOLIS -- A woman was shot and killed on Indianapolis' near eastside late Monday evening.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers were called to the scene near East 10th Street and Gray Street just before 10 p.m.
Police say a woman was found shot at this location. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The woman has been identified as Karen Groves, 58.
The death comes after a violent weekend in Indianapolis that saw three people killed in shootings.

No additional details have been released.
