INDIANAPOLIS -- Nearly a dozen stolen vehicles were recovered from a property on Indianapolis' south side.

Police say the recovered 10 stolen vehicles from the property in the 1900 block of Lawton Avenue. The vehicles were stolen from multiple cities including Indianapolis, Anderson and even Jeffersonville.

The man who owns the property where the vehicles were located says he had no idea they were being stored there and he doesn't know much about the people who are renting the property from him.

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department says they are working with police from the cities the cars were stolen from to get them back to their owners. Police say they do have suspects in the case but they aren't naming anyone because it is an ongoing investigation.
