Remains of missing Indy man found in Beech Grove area; foul play suspected

INDIANAPOLIS -- The remains of a missing man from Indianapolis were found in the Beech Grove area on Tuesday. 

Indiana State Police were contacted by a concerned family member of Jeremy Cain, 33, on September 3. Cain was last seen in the Indianapolis area in late August. 

During the course of the investigation, state police say they followed several leads that lead them to suspect foul play.

Cain's body was found September 11 in the Beech Grove area. Investigators at the scene found evidence of a possible homicide. 

The case remains under investigation by the Indiana State Police. No arrests have been made.
