INDIANAPOLIS -- All but 10 of the remaining workers at Rexnord's Indianapolis plant will be paid off next week.

The union tells Call 6 Investigates that 65 out of 75 of the workers still at the plant will be let go during Tuesday's layoffs.

Ten workers will remain at the plant until the last of the machines are moved out.

Last October, the company employed more than 300 workers at its west side plant, which made ball bearings for equipment around the world.

Those local jobs have since been moved to Texas and Mexico.

President Donald Trump has twice made Twitter posts blasting plans to close the Rexnord plant, but employees say they have yet to see any action from his administration to stop the movement.
