WARREN TOWNSHIP, Ind. -- Two employees of Warren Township schools have been suspended after a child was left on a school bus.
The district says a driver parked her bus in the transportation lot off Rawles Avenue after her morning route on May 23 - and didn't notice a child still sleeping on the bus.
Officials say neither the driver or bus monitor was aware the child had fallen asleep and it wasn't until the driver came back for the afternoon route that she found the child awake.
The district has suspended the bus driver and monitor while they investigate.
