SPEEDWAY, Ind. — May is less than four months away, and now there’s a big reminder of that at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
On Friday morning, a crew installed the big banner of 2018 Indy 500 champ Will Power above Gate 2.
It was supposed to be put up earlier in the week, but high winds prevented that.
The 103rd running of the Indianapolis 500 is set for Sunday, May 25.
The IndyCar season begins March 10 with the Firestone Grand Prix in St. Petersburg.
