WAYNE TOWNSHIP, Ind. -- Four people were injured in a head-on crash between a Wayne Township Fire Department ambulance and a car Monday afternoon.
The crash happened near the intersection of 10th Street and Ridgepointe Drive around 4 p.m.
The Wayne Township Fire Department says two medics were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries and a patient being cared for in the back of the ambulance suffered minor injuries.
The driver of the car was taken to the hospital in serious condition.
The crash remains under investigation by the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department and the Wayne Township Fire Department.
