If you're in the Plainfield area or your weekend involves traveling at the airport, you may want to pay attention to this traffic alert.
This is the same project crews were working on last weekend, only flip-flopped to the opposite side!
The right lane of eastbound I-70 will be closed near Ronald Reagan/Ameriplex Parkway and will be reduced to two lanes, temporarily shifted to the left, away from the median.
At the same time, High School Rd will be reduced to one lane in each direction on the bridge above I-70, with both directions shifted to the east half of the bridge.
This project begins Friday night at 9-o-clock, and will continue until 6-o-clock on Monday morning.
So, if you plan to head through any of those areas, give yourself that extra time!
